About

Kathrin Pfeifer grew up in the Black Forest, where she roamed the meadows and forests as a child. Once she was an adult, she moved to the Schauinsland region, where she discovered her love of yoga in 2006 and has since studied with well-known and unknown teachers (who play a very important role) from Germany, Europe, and the USA.

She is certified in Vinyasa Flow/Prana Vinyasa Flow according to the Shiva Rea, Anusara, and Yin traditions.

From the beginning of time, it was clear that yoga was her path. Beyond the postures, she immediately immersed herself in the deeper aspects of this philosophy.

A tireless yogini and teacher, she conveys her passion for life and well-being in her teaching. Her style draws from various branches of knowledge and is both intuitive and rooted in the traditional aspects of yoga.

Her classes focus particularly on breath and the connection between body, mind, and spirit

Students can develop and grow in their own time in a safe environment.

Kathrin sees the science and spirituality of yoga as a path to explore the inner self and elevate our consciousness, while creating a counterbalance to the stresses of modern life. Kathrin's mission in life is to inspire as many people as possible to follow this path.

She wants to inspire, uplift, and encourage them to live their lives to the fullest, with all that entails. "This is how we recognize our full and infinite potential," says Kathrin with a wink.

My Teaching

The way I teach is a holistic approach rooted in Vinyasa Yoga and Tantric philosophy. Additionally, I am currently exploring Kundalini Yoga.

The classes vary and consist of combinations of physical postures, breathwork, kriya, meditation, and chanting.

They increase strength, build vitality, and create mental clarity. It serves practitioners and teachers of all levels of experience. For me, yoga is a philosophy of life that helps us seriously explore ourselves and live an extraordinary life.

Yoga means to me..

Yoga was like the "Knight in Shining Love" for me and saved me during a time when I was experiencing severe anxiety in the form of panic attacks and self-doubt. It literally leads me from the darkness into the light, again and again.

It made me understand that I don't have to be a victim of my thoughts and gives me the courage to look at what I would rather not look at. "To feel all the feels," to be with them and to recognize that it's only dramatic if I make them dramatic. It gives me the courageous heart I need to express my vulnerability and feelings in words and actions.

Yoga helps me to truly show myself as I am—with all the facets that define me as a person—and to endure being seen that way, knowing that people might stay or leave. Living this way is an exciting rollercoaster ride and a lifelong task.

I practice facing myself in this deep self-reflection with as much lightness, humor, and empathy as possible.

Every day that I live yoga and am yoga is freer and lighter. For me, yoga is the deepest intimacy, the connection with life, with Mother Earth and her earthlings.

Every day that I live yoga and am yoga is freer and easier.
